The Milwaukee Braves have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's Tom Seaver, this year's Pesky's Pole Division Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.

Seaver compiled a 21-6 record in 34 starts, tallied 222 strikeouts in 279 innings and recorded a 2.39 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .217 batting average against him.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dean Chance of the Baltimore Orioles finished second in voting, while Jim Bunning of the Detroit Tigers finished third.
